I got permission for an 1806 home a couple weeks back, the home was supposed to be the location of the British in 1812. As it turns out the owners had the front yard reworked and any thing that might be old may be buried. My friend that came along found a 1852 three cent peace, a 1837 lower Canada one penny token. Here is my neat finds as well. There was broken pottery and red brick in the front yard, there must been another older building there at one time. I found this 1798 8 reales, interesting find for sure. here is a grave marker that was found there many years ago, it may stand for, Son's of the empire, or Soldiers of the empire, any ideas?
