Metamorphic shale? Not quite sure, its very strong not brittle, but looks to be layered

I would make a terrible Indian artifact digger since it just looks like a rock nature had some fun with. However I could see it being used as a cutting device with the different angles you've shown. Cool find

You sound pretty excited, so I don't enjoy saying this but I think it's a natural formation.
Nothing I see in your pictures indicates an Indian artifact.
