Went back to the area where I found the two Eagle Buttons and the half-dime on Wednesday. Brought the rubber boots and stayed in the creek. It was a sloppy mess, but worth it. This spot still has a lot of potential, it's just so blasted THICK (which is probably why I'm still finding stuff)

First signal was an Eagle I in the creek. Pics don't do it justice. The water kept it a beautiful copper color. Almost shiny. No Patina. Found two other Eagles nearby.

Rounded out the day with a button back, one lone P cap, A .69 round ball, some dropped 3-ringers, and a partially melted three ringer. Twenty years ago, my digging buddy found a knife and fork in this general area. Today I found what was left of the spoon! All of this came from a super over-grown area about the size of a two-car garage. So I have WAY more work to do. It's just so thick.
