Germany Finds (part 6), coins, ammo and misc

Another batch from Bamberg and also did some detecting at Grafenwoehr.
Graf is an old German base, however, rains kept me from doing more hunting.

Notables in the middle:
1955 Pet vaccination tag
Unit crest, Esso Gas Station Tag ( on this one)
The Lion was found on Graf and I sure it was a unit symbol (Bavaria)
German uniform button
Some old Germany coins, 1911, 1924, 1926 and a 1958 2Mark with Noble Prize winner.
The silver can on top is a snuff can and black cartridge on the bottom is a rare plastic cased 7.62mm blank.

Man thats a lot of digging. Love that plane. If you get a chance go to Mainze and hunt the fields around the city. There were about 30,000 French troops camped there around 1795. I made a lot of nice finds there.

I will be going to Graf for 10 days with the unit. I will try to hunt some.
I love detecting here in Germany, always a surprise what you might find.

My target base is Wurzburg, since it is slated to close soon.

I did the obstacle course in Graf, did you hit it? Looked like someone was digging on one of the obstacles, I did the whole course. Finds were meager as I hunted it last Fall and it has not been used much but, I found several surprises that have to do with 5 musket balls from the early days, 1910ish. HH, Mike
