Went to an old site with Fog.... We went through the thickest bramble I ever hunted...But had some nice finds... Found the round buckle first and then I got 1819....9 over 8 large cent...Its in good shape except for the top of hair....Then a bit later I found the 1804 Half Cent, kind of toast but it has a visible date.. it has the crosslet 4 ...Then walked out in the woods for the last 45 minutes and found the Complete Shoe Buckle ...My favorite things to find...Then I found the ring going back to the truck...Cant believe not one button from this site:dontknow:

Wow, that is a heck of a hunt! Can't believe adding that ring to the mix, just to push it into the stratosphere. Killer!

Killer finds. That 9 over 8 LC is really sweet, as is the shoe buckle! Very well played.

Amazing night and day difference in the condition of the copper cents :icon_scratch: looks like the half cent was ruined by fertilizers .
Wonderful intact buckle .
Great hunting !

Love that shoe buckle Brian W! I think I've looked at this post 3 times now and never had the time to type up a reply. ha These shoe buckles are some of my favorite all time relics. Great job getting a complete one. It seems like a bunch of complete shoe buckles have been turning up lately. Great LCs and ring too. Looks like you have a great spot.
