I found out over the weekend that the farm I first visited last week is bigger than I imagined; it also includes a half dozen little vacation cottages right along a creek that runs by the farm. As I arrived there today, one of the sisters who owns it gave the okay to search around them too, and anywhere else I wanted to look on about 20 acres of farm. She also lost a platinum and diamond bracelet somewhere on the place and would be delighted if I found it! ;D
I had my eye on the cottages anyway, and knowing that they were at my disposal I began behind one today. It didn't take long to pay off; in addition to the silver pictured, I dug 22 wheats, including 1910, 26, a pair of 36's and a 37. The Barber is 1904, one Merc is 20D and the other is 35. The Washington is obviously a 41 in nice shape. At worst, it will replace one already on the books. As a bonus, there was .81 in clad. You know it's a good day when you get tired of finding wheat pennies.
I could almost spend the rest of the summer at this place, and when the frosts arrive more space will open up. The Barber is typical of what I expected to find as this place is way more than 100 years old.

Great finds.
I love finding old places like that to hunt, especially when I have them all to myself. It would be even better if you could find the ladies bracelet and return it to her.
