Congrats on the century mark again Greg... I can see the woodchip stains on the coins. I have found that my detector seems to work better while searching in wet woodchips. What cha think? Any merit to that observation?

It was probably one of my toughest hunts this year! The rain just did not stop! When it got so bad I ran to car for half an hour. Good observation on the coins. Most were from tot lot and surrounding area of tot lot which is also wood chip and dirt/grass. To me wet woodchip and wet dirt too seems to help with depth. I love the easy digging, I had a soft signal today in the woodchip at 6.5 came up as a nickel it was. I doubt it would have come up if the woodchip was not wet.

Good luck hitting 100, if you are having trouble getting there maybe plan a early morning hunt and a second hunt after lunch keep count and pick a spot that you know has a lot of clad.

Rudy please don't feel any pressure from me! There are people finding a lot more than all of us! Some of them don't post pictures, some probably don't know these sites exist. Remember some are hunting daily! I could have got out today but the sore back always tells me to take a day or two off.
