This is my first post, just purchased a White's DFX and a Bullseye pinpointer. This is my first year detecting, I was infected by the detecting bug thanks to my good friend Dave. (Detector Dave LOL.. ) Thought I'd share with the rest of you my first finds. I recently went to a local park where they were setting up for a carnival this coming weekend, so next week should be fun. Hope the rest of you rookies don't get discouraged because at first we were, we meaning ( spikesmom ) and me but persistance pays off.

I have the Spectrum XLT .....the DFX is supossedly better than mine and I have found a lot of nice things with mine... so I know you will too.... just keep going out and learning about your machine.... practice pinpointing.... fill in your holes good... and always get permission...... do research and find where things used to be..... the best spots are still unsearched!

Happy Huntin....

The DFX is a pretty big gun for a rookie and got you a decent side arm as well although I prefer the Vibraprobe.

Just kidding. Welcome and good luck.

Welcome.
Good luck with the DFX. I don't have one yet, but I'm hoping to dig one up using my Tesoro. ;D
Love the mini bike avatar. Very cool.

Welcome & good luck. I have an M6 and have been doing fairly well with it. Found 7 or 8 rings (none worth much tho), couple bracelets and a bunch of earrings and charms. I've only been detecting since the end of March myself. Have fun. ;D
