Cool Broach, Slot Machine Token, Silver, and a Semi Key Date IHP

Got out for a few hours this afternoon, here are the spoils:




A 1903 Barber Dime, a 1902 V nickel, a Broach, a slot machine token from the 20s, an 1869 IHP, and two doohickeys. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the IHP was a semi key date.

That token is from a local bar / tavern from the 20s. A friend of mine is a descendant of the original owners. Story goes that they had bar top slot machines that only used these tokens. You paid the bartender cash, he gave you tokens for the machine. You could then cash in your tokens for cash or bar credit. I guess this is how they skirted state gambling laws. Nevertheless, someone began counterfeiting the first generation tokens. My friend's ancestors ordered a new style of token, rendering the first generation useless. His ancestors then scattered the first generation tokens in the fields behind the family house as they plowed the fields. I have hunted his property and recovered approximately 30 of these tokens, in varying denominations, all of which I gave back to my buddy. However this one was dug about a mile away from my friend's house, about halfway between where the tavern once stood and his residence. So when I pulled it out of the ground I knew exactly what it was.

I am not sure, it rang up that way, but there are no markings, but no tarnishing either, so I have no idea
