I did a 90 minute hunt tonight and the first 60 minutes was trash and shotgun headstamps. I finally got a good IHP signal that was not a shotgun shell headstamp. It turned out to be toasty V nickel and 1879 indian. Im pretty sure the v is an early one cause I havent found any indians past 1885 here. I got a shallow bouncy 70-82 on the AT Pro next. I was thinking possibly another indian. Turned out to be silver. Got it home cleaned it up. 1877 CC Seated dime. Seated number five from here

Thanks. Its hard to believe that five seated coins and a Barber quarter have been dug here in less than a week. Amazing what just a little bit of research and a lot of luck can accomplish

The cc mint mark takes the cake. Big time Grats. That site is bound to cough up goodies for years to come.

You seem to be getting spoiled, 5 seated - 1 site :headbang:. The finds are well deserved. You are killing it, in 2016!

Thanks man. This site has spoiled me. I had found a park that gave up some early 20th century silver in December but last visit produced zip so i began doing some research found an old map that shocked me and the finds have been flying out of the ground since

Nice little three coin set you got there. Seated CC is sweet.

Good to see research paying off!

Best of luck in 2016!
