Great find!

I think the Professional Pull Tab Authentication Service (PPTAS) can help in the classification of this valuable historic find!

***AARC mutters in a Southpark Cartman voice "Screw those guys."***

Like I said before...
I need no help on IDing this... Believe me... I am an expert.

I hate to be the one who has to say that you should not be posting this on a public forum. When the government finds out that you found this they're going to take it away from you. And lock you in a 30 inch by 30 inch cell also known as an upside-down shopping cart.

***AARC contemplates writing a new book "One pull tab away from retirement" ***

Well, I guess the truth is that we all love pull tabs. Why else would we spend so much time digging them :dontknow:

Gee ARRC. Thought you were calling for my assistance in your title.
So you get it anyway.
It appears to be a "proof" tab.
Wondering if it is from the mints archives somehow , or a collector lost it , stolen loot , or what?
Either way...be careful and keep it secure!
The shakes should subside in a day or two.

Stunning find on the Hillbilly "Gagement ring! Only 500,000 of those will give you about 100 pounds of recyclable aluminum! Beware AARC, unscrupulous fiends are reproducing those and passing them off as legit to the tourist market...Sub 8-)

I use to have 5 gallon bucket full of em too...

Till I made "chainmail" armor out of em...
Tis my metal detecting "outfit"...

Tis great... better than sunscreen for sun protection...
And doubles as shark protection.

I know ... I know... what you are thinking... its only aluminum...
But sharks teeth are made of teeth.

***AHEM*** heh.
