Unfortunately it's variety number one. If it was variety number two, I would have had it slabbed and graded. Still a good find for an hour hunt in So. Calif. it's only my 2nd buffalo found and I can actually read the date on this one!

In the last two days, I've gone through nearly 300 BNs from a friend whose grandfather collected small jars filled with them. Not one (that was readable) was pre-1921. You made a great find!!
