I went back to the spot I got the 73 silver coin spill before and found another spill about ten feet away in the grass that was to long to hunt before. I was on lunch break today and got 15 coins out of the hole and went back after work and just now and got 5 more. I'm sure the hole is cleaned out but I'm going to continuously check around there every now and then. The first coin out was a barber quarter and I was psyched over that. Rechecked the hole and sure enough it was like last time were there was constant more hits. In the end I got 13 silver quarters and 7 silver dimes. They are mostly Canadian but I have 3 barbers and 1 standing Liberty. I'll get back later and post the dates. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

Yep, you're hitting small caches not spills. Any remnants of a container at all in the holes? These are incredible recoveries. Dig every target you can, especially the big ones! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the idea. It's a good mystery. The only problem is the big one was in the middle of a old road and the other just down and to the side of it. Maybe they were there before the old road. But also its on a giant rock that has shallow soil and grass towards the bottom. Not good deep soil for burying them. Here's a old photo of the spot I took when I got the 73 spill in the road...

The new spill is just down and on the left not in photo.

That makes 94 silver coins total from the property. 93 good old ones and before that I got a lonely 1950's dime in the new driveway away from the spills.

I forgot that I got a 1900 silver five cent at the very top of the hill to the right last year so that actually makes 95 silvers so far on that property! [emoji106]

Amazing! You make it look easy!

I wish. Put a lot of hours in before to come home with nothing. Haha
I did go back today in the rain and didn't get any more good hits. The holes were instantly filling with water and mud everywhere. Next time I go back with more time I'm going to dig the crappy stuff out to make sure nothing is getting masked by it! [emoji2]

What can I say, that's another dream find! My biggest silver spill was a dollar and two halves...I cannot imagine pulling up a huge pile like you have there. I'm going to bet someone "hid" them there as the Great Depression was starting.

Thanks. Both spill times I was kinda in shock and just worked as fast as I could cleaning the holes out. After words I was beaming and the best part was rinsing the dirt off gently and seeing what I had! [emoji2]

Thanks. Looks like it will be awhile until I check that spot out again or any other. Got 30+ cm of snow last night and going to be super cold the rest of the week! [emoji30]

I'll have to take some pictures of the some of the better shape coins but here's a 1929 photo from the other spill close to it...

Another OLD & BIG silver coin spill

Just wanted to edit that I posted one of the dates as a 1926 Canadian quarter but they didn't make any that year. The coin was pretty worn on the date but I seen that it's a 1916 instead. I'm going to take some close ups of the coins one of these days when I get time and post them. Also I know some people on here like the standing Liberty quarters and I thought this only one in the spill looks in great shape so I snapped a picture...

What an amazing find. This was obviously an old cache (or maybe more than one in close proximity) that was unknowingly disturbed at some point and just sat there waiting for you to find it....twice! I voted banner. Major congrats! Any key dates on those Canadian coins?
