First barber quarter, 2 mercs, and some other stuff

Dug my first barber quarter today at my go-to site up here in NJ. It's very worn but I could care less. Very shallow, about 3 inches. Also picked up two mercs and some kind of erie railroad token. Weather is supposed to turn butt cold so this may be my last hunt for a while...very happy with the finds.

Friends I was hunting with found a SLQ and two mercs between the two of them so a good time was had by all

EDIT: the 'railroad token' is actually a lead cargo seal.

Congrats on your first Barber quarter. I love checking things off the bucket list. I know what you mean about the cold coming. Looks like next weekend we may not get out of the teens. Ground is about to freeze hard for the season. You can always hit the beach. I took this photo at the beach yesterday!
