Silver in the iron

Man, it was nice to get out for a little bit yesterday evening...most snow has melted away and had to get out. Went back to 1900 home-site where I still can pull something. I dug a bunch of trash, but was just as happy digging. And got a few neat things. A 1964 rosie that was surrounded by nails.

All cleaned up and shinny-

My favorite find, a handsaw medallion, 1896-1917

Other stuff, National Distiller whiskey top, fishing wt, and do not really know what the two items on the top are.


And a pouch of rusty nails and some pull tabs. It was awesome to be out playing in the dirt again!!! Thanks for looking!

I have always wondered if we save all our rusty nails can we build a house that is rustic? Congrats on the finds!

-I could see why...while researching, the earlier ones have an eagle on it. the 64 makes up for all the 65's I have found. Thanks.
