Hi guys.
i couldn't resist the idea to get back where i found the roman coins so got back there today. I'm sure now that nobody has MD there before.
I thought that maybe somebody hase been there and left for me only the tiny coins but he couldn't miss this little statue.



To me it seems like lead, by the white patina.

Also i found these two coins.
No idea what they are! I hope you guys can help.

Now that i found this lead statue i think that also this lead Christ(i think so) is ancient too.

The large Lead 'head' might be a steelyard weight but need to have a iron loop or copper-alloy loop?

Those Roman coin are 4th C, but we call these 'scrappies' - ie. not likely to get a proper ID.

The Lead Christ could be late Medieval.

No they don't look like steelyard weights, but they are probably Roman. 1 thing we always look for on a roman site, is scrap lead, no lead = no site.

Your head looks to be one of the Roman Gods, however, they would normal make it in bronze for a statue, so its puzzling.
