Thanks JB. I wish I could take site pictures, like you, since some of these 17th century field sites have beautiful views but then I risk the nighthawks pilfering them. That buckle piece is really cool and must have been a looker when whole.

Thanks George, you can have this buckle too if you want it I tend to find blowhole buttons but I think you're right, not many down here.

Very nice early colonial finds,big congrats on the cobb.That is another one of those finds that my chances of finding are very slim.I take it you live off the coast?
