After we talked last night I got to thinking about that eagle... Just did a search thinking Case tractor emblem and see after scrolling further someone figured it out for ya. Sorry that it's not military, but you can't win them all.

At at last your Dragoon button is better than mine from a few weeks back!

Hey Relic Lover, that is part of the adventure, going to different places. Over the years I have hunted in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Montana, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Antigua.

First concert I ever saw was ZZ Top in the Johnstown War Memorial in 1975. But I lost a lot of respect for those boys when I saw them walk off the stage while the music continued to play in the Cotton Bowl in 1981, when they opened up for the Rolling Stones.

Thanks Keith. I guess some old Rancher must have lost the Case stick pin around 1890 or so. But I am more that happy with the other finds.

Thanks JB, Republic of Texas buttons are rare and valuable. They sometimes turn up on Civil War sites in Virginia, but that's as close to the east coast as you will find one.

Steve you are right on all counts. The guys I were digging with are no slouches. My main buddy is 76 and has been at it since the early 1960s. He has an incredible collection.

Congrats on filling another nice display box of historical recoveries from Texas. Texas & Tennessee are forever linked by a little church in San Antonio. WTG, Q.
Thanks Quindy. Mu buddy I stay with has bought and sold a lot of Alamo material over the years and has dug all over Texas and Mexico fo that matter. Too dangerous to go into Mexico now though.

Thanks Evan, I have dug two Rifleman's and maybe four Dragoons out of this spot. My buddy has dug countless Rifleman's and Dragoons over the years. The pre-war western forts and camps are where they are at.
