And it's days like that we all conveniently ignore the "Cost" of metal detecting and focus on the finds!

I personally purchased a $150 travel scoop and was THRILLED when I found a $2 sterling bracelet on my Florida trip earlier this year (and about $8 in change across three beaches). Was it worth the scoop? Absolutely. :)


Not sure when I'll use the scoop again, but it was so blasted fun, I'll never get rid of it.

Thanks Dave, yes it did and got another one same date and mint the previous hunt also in very nice shape, maybe the clay protects them, both were inbeded in thick mucky clay. Gl and hh
