On Monday it was time to revisit a place that I had nick named my "Honey Hole" I think that any place that gives you 14 silver coins in just 5 trips is deserving of such a title. One such trip gave me six silvers. Well, I had given it a break while I was exploring some other lawns. After this spot got a few days of rain, I decided to return and search. With the exception of pennies, even the clad was relatively scarce. In 7 hours, I managed 64 coins, including 6 Wheat Pennies, and a 1957 Canadian Penny. I guess my find of the day was a 3 swivel, Religious Medallions.
There may be some silver still here but I have a feeling the only way I will find it, may be with The XP DEUS.
In the meantime, I'll resume that never ending search for a new Honey Hole.

I dug this chunk of lead out from under a root.

Haha! Before I even opened this thread my response was going to be "get yourself a Deus and you'll find more nectar at your honey hole".

It seems you're still finding a lot of coins, I'm sure there is more silver!

Thanks,
This may be a perfect place to use my DEUS
I have cleaned this spot up pretty good with the CTX.
I deliberately avoid using the Deus in NYC parks. Mainly because of the over abundance of steel bottle caps. I'm not a "Dig everything " hunter when it comes to sniffing out silver in the parks. I'll wait until we get a few saturating rain falls.

I just noticed your arsenal of machines, sweet rigs! Good work on that site, I love those religious medallions.

I have some great spots I hunted with the E-Trac - I went back with the DEUS and have found nothing more. Testing is still in progress for me using the DEUS Vs. E-Trac. Let us know how it turns out for you.

As one door closes another door opens. Knowing your record you'll be back in the silver soon:

Awww sorry to hear it dried up... I had one of those this month, too. We pulled 3 gold rings and 7 silver ones out of a practice field at a school. I was REALLY sad when the final grid line was done... IN 5-6 years I'm sure it'll fill up again, but it's all dried up now... :(
Congrats on the great gold and silver ring year you re having so far. At least we have a shot at the hot spots getting replenished with more gold and silver jewelry. With the silver coins,, once they are gone, there is no replenishment. I just have to find another spot. That's the nature of the beast.
