Sorry to let y'all down, couldn't find Gold to save my life, some silver

Hi everyone. I started out in the water at 6:15 this morning and had company, a 6' Manta ray swam all around me for about an hour or so while I hunted. Very cool. I hunted my Keester off and could not find a gold.. I did set a record I'm sure for most beer caps found in one outing, pull tabs included(see pic) good thing there's no alcohol allowed at this park!!! I did manage to find 26 coins a Sterling ring with 3 stones, a sterling toe ring, and a sterling earring. Also a junk toe ring, a costume inlaid dolphin bracelet, and a brass inlaid bracelet, a broken watch, sunglasses. But somehow that gold eluded me today. Anyways, I was forced out of the water again around noon. No where to go, it was so packed full of people by then. Oh well it was a beautiful day out. Aloha
Oh yeah, and that brownish colored dolphin is made of stone, just saw it in the scoop

I wish I was able to, but at this time, I do not have a waterproof digital camera. He was cool cruising all around.

Once upon a time, I was a tried and true land hunter. Then one day I got into the water and haven't been out since. Be careful what ya wish for

Not enough hours in the day. You have to decide, do I want to get wet and find the gold that has fallen off easier. Or hunt dry sand, because it doesn't take long and there are so many people on the beach you can't move. But thanks. I do hunt for maybe 15 minutes on the way down to the water. If stuffs popping out I keep at it. But then the water is calm at 6am and calling me to get in before it turns rough.

Check your machine settings by testing with a gold ring. Make sure you get a reading. If all is OK get back out there and you will find GOLD!

IT WASN'T THE SETTINGS, THE GOLD WAS HIDING. IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS I'VE FOUND 19 GOLD RINGS 2 PLATINUM RINGS & 25 STERLINGS. 3 ARE DIAMOND RINGS.

Gold is very elusive....I swear it hears my detector fire up and runs south!!! I will attack it by air one day and see if that helps!!! Silver is nicer anyways....sigh
