Went to a couple sites today. It was 34 degrees, snowing and windy. Anyways, at the first site a dug what looks to be a miniature cannon ball. For all I know its probally an old truck ball. It's about the size of a halo orange and has a threaded hole on top. I also found what seems to be a naval button. I think it's newer and has no backmark. Also found two train flattened pennies by the old train tracks. Any info on the ball or button would be appreciated!

Is it magnetic? In the photo it looks like very corroded pot metal , if it's iron then you still got a chance. Chin up !
