Two hours out in the field today and netted some cool stuff. I usually find mostly 3-ringers so switching it up with a few fired Enfield bullets was nice! The cannister shot appears larger than any others I have found, but seems too small to be an actual cannonball. Also found shell fragments, a grape shot, and what seems to be a fired .44 bullet that was just laying exposed. Do you guys have any ideas on what the strange iron thing might be?

Ahh, interesting thought! Fascinating how household items like that are found right alongside missiles of death in a field that saw so much blood spilled.
