Yes, a very rare snag your side of the pond. These 17th C tokens could only be used in the shop of issue. They were illegal tender, but the Govt turned a blind eye because they couldn't afford to plug the gap in small change.

It shows his trade with 3 Sugar Loaves & is 1660 (not 66)

As an unpriced token in the book, its states a minimum of Β£45 for this one.

Thanks for the additional info. The references I saw listed it as 66..but at this point 1660 or 1666 is still fine with me!!! Haha thanks again.

Either your ref is wrong or the book is, your choice.
