Found this beauty in a farm field within 10' of a 1864 Indian head cent. Since I'm in NW Ohio it's pretty rare to find one. Was a short hunt but well worth it. Fantastic button!!! They don't turn up often here either. That's a great find.[emoji106]

Post a picture of the IH. Maybe it's a 1864 L

Can barely read the Indian I have it soaking will post a pic tomorrow. I'm sure it was a union solders souvenir. I've found large and half cents at this site but this is first military related item from there. I have found Union eagle buttons at another site but this is my first confederate relic. Pretty excited about it.

Might have been a Yank's souvenir.
Either that or maybe the southerner moved to ohio. There's a story there somewhere. Very nice find congrats.
