Hunted a new permission in the city.......just barley scratched the overall (double lot) area of a turn of the century home in an old established neighborhood. It's one I can go to anytime..........
Yes, there's all the normal clad..........

With a few do-dads..........and,

I know, it's not a coin, but hey, it is silver............
Looks to be a protective leg cover for a piece of furniture...........anyone concur or have a different thought?
Thanks for the look see and keep huntin'.............

Congrats, be sure to grid that permission in 2 directions. You'll be amazed at what you pull during the 2nd grid.

Thanks for the input, LD..........I'll be sure to make use of your advice..
That rectangle at the top in the first pic is copper.......would that be an old belt buckle?

It is more than likely part of a buckle, but may be from horse tack or even a purse.

Heed Loco's advice. Maybe go over the home a third time.

Heck I grid permissions twice with the stock DD coil and again with my 12" x 15" SEF coil if permitted.

Was looking at the item after cleaning and there are two points in the center on the long sides opposite each other where something was attached.........

Chizzy,

Good luck on the property search! Loco-Digger is correct in his search methods. If you have time, create a third and fourth 45 degrees to the first two; this cross-hatch pattern will saturate the search area with coil coverage. You will be surprised of the extra goodies you recover.

Good Luck,

Doc

Good idea, Doc.......the first time through, I'm just digging the strongest signals.......to get some of the trash out of the way. Was going to fine tune the 2nd time through in the opposite direction. A 45 degree search would surely help get the stragglers............
