WW1 3.8" Shrapnel Round Found

I ran across this while in the woods earlier this week. I found on a shell casings collection site that it is a 3.8" shrapnel round, yet the head of the bomb squad out of Ft. Benning, GA said it was a 75mm round. What is the true name of this? They did verify WW1 though.

WTG on reporting the find, could have really turned out worse. Did the EOD confirm it was a live round?

BTW my mom's side of the family were from Anniston. My grandfather worked at the Depot & my dad was stationed at Ft. McClellan about 1967-68.

I can't even watch the video (data limits), but just the thought of that round out there sends chills down my spine!

Unsure how to reply to each question, but to let you all know they did confirm it was live and real. They took it to a local range and detonated it.
