And the good news is, finding so many "pull tabs", the oldies, let's me know this local small beach hasn't been detected!
I had elusive monster deep chimes too (One I gave up on) but it was strong...I quit because I was wet and cold. I also didn't bring a good scoop, just a small one, and it got rocky, from sand, just 2" down.
It was so wet, my poor Ace 150, and my being out of it so long, made for a good experiment and experience day!
Now, I have my local itty, bitty beach, river with bridge, Old Soo Line RR to look forward to!
But my goodness, I was exhausted and my darn arm hurt...lol
I forgot, you have to be in MD shape!

It does sound like a virgin site. I wish you the best and look forward to pics of your finds.

What does a "butt load" look like? I guess I have always wondered the answer to that question. Post up some pics

Small gold rings are masters of disguise...they dress up like pull tabs and nickles and hide in plain sight, (actually under the sod.) My motto, dig until exhausted, let the law of averages fill your pouch with goodies and trash. Sub 8-)

Our town is a tourist town, riddled with Mpls, MN tourist!
They invade everything! lol
It's cold and rainy, so no beach activity this weekend.
