This creek runs by a very old school. The School was built around the late 1800 into 1900. And the School is still there to this day. I went MD in the creek and find 4 items of interest.
1 Standing Liberty Coin 1936
1 Mercury dime 1935
1 Wheat Penny its all messed up... date could be 1942 the date is relay far gone.
But what I want is can anybody figure out what the big iron thing is . we weighs in at 2 pound. looks like a oversize rusty TiC TAC candy.
Any Chance what this iron object might be? Also it is not flat it like a big plump hotdog. rolls around well.

Looks like it "could" be a small window weight. If it is, there should be 1 or 2 holes in it. Still, I personally have never seen one that small.

Nice silvers!!

I will try Electrolysis on it once I get the tub made. And hope to see what is under all the rust and stones. But if it is a small window weight...... I guess I can just say it is trash then?

I dunno. Like I said, never saw one that small before. Might be fairly rare. Still don't know that it'd be worth much if it was, just sayin'..... :dontknow:

Maybe a weight from a Pendulum Clock ? But then again, it would be more ornate.
