The old pounded park was in a giving mood this morning. Got lucky with a shallow 1900 Barber dime in the roots of an old tree. Also snagged a 1902 indian head cent that looks like someone tried to cut. Finished off with a 1888 V-nickel. Also dug what looks like an old aviator button, a lead hem weight, 3 wheat cents and a couple pieces of old jewerly. Also pictured is an 1863 Civil War DIX token I dug at the same park last week. Park Pirate also pulled a couple keepers from the ground today !

Wow, gorgeous finds! It's really interesting for me to see the pieces found in parks and fields. I'm always sticking to the beaches so it's like a whole other world!
