I finished a bathroom remodel for the wife and had a few hours to M.D. yesterday. My last 3 weeks have been a busy time with the bathroom job and not much time to pursue the addiction. I found a little clad, 2 wheats, 1920 and 1951, a 1927 Mercury dime, a 1912 V nickel, a 1946 toasted Jefferson, an old button, a silver earing, and an old fired bullet. I don't think the bullet is that old, but if I am wrong let me know. Happy hunting and keep on swinging. I'll have to give that a try. I just used a toothbrush and some dishwashing soap to get it cleaned as it is.

I like that earring but the V-nickel is killer just the way it is!

You have been doing this long enough to know that using a Brillo pad on that nickel is just a silly idea...
Let her ride the way she is...they don't usually look that good from the ground...

Congrats on pulling a fist full of keepers. :occasion14: You made the short time hunting pay off big time.
