Here is a new one on me. A class ring with the initials inside HOWEVER, zero's for the date? It is 10K at 7.33 grams. I will live with it. A strange half today. 1952 Franklin. Usually don't find anything that new. A Washington and another war nickel were my silver takes today. A gold plated ring, again thought it was my first gold for the day, and two brass rings. 13 wheat cents and two regular Jefferson nickles.

congrats on the nice gold! You sure it's a class ring? It looks more like an initial ring from over here. Keep it up!

Well that is a good question. Since it was found in Detroit, I was thinking Detroit High school. You could be very right though. Thanks for the other possibility.

You are VERY PROBABLY right also. The inside is STRANGE. Looks like the initial was made to be changed. Will get a picture of it also. Never saw a ring like it.

Fantastic finds! I found a war nickel recently encrusted in black packed sand. Have you ever come across that and how would I remove it?

You are asking the wrong person how to clean coins!! I don't. Sorry I am absolutely no help there. Others will be very glad to help and much mor knowledgeable. I just collect the critters in a jar.

very nice ring. it's not a class ring though, it's a monogram ring. and yes, the initial was made with the ability to change. Someone could buy the base ring and then choose which initial they wanted. based on style, I'd date it to around 1920

Ring was about 5 - 6 inches deep. Solid mid tone on the CZ-21. Never waivered

Depending on the age of the class ring, year of graduation is either 1900, or 2000

Nice finds! Congrats!
