Detected some different areas at the old courthouse tonight. Found the Barber earlier today but was thirsty for more. I got the quarter and flat button then with daylight fading I hit only my second ever two center and my first silver thimble Don't see a mark as of yet but pretty sure its silver. Off to celebrate with some

Very nice 2 cent piece . Seems like the year for them . There has been some nice ones dug this year . The silver thimble is great ....
On alot of lists for sure . Now find the gold one to match

Thanks everyone but Im not seeing any marks on this thimblle other than a small R. It came out shiny though. What else could it be beside silver though. Hoping its an unmarked early one.

My silver thimble had no marks too just a number 6 or 9 figured a 9 because of the bottom would be end you'd put you finger through. Nice finds, congrats!
