First Mercury Dime

[BIENER]

. Found this bucket list item today along with a1935 Buffalo nickel and two wheat pennies. 1926 and 1935s. All this rain seems to help with finding deeper targets, all were found in the 8-10 inch range. Has anyone else found this to be true?

Sure. Rain makes the ground more conductive and a better receiver for machine signals to the ground. Nice looking merc. Congrats

Pretty Mercury,, put that sweet thing in a coin folder.
My first Mercury was a 1923, I still have it,, with the date of find and the location marked on the folder I put it in.

Yes, water (rain) is a conductor of electricity so your detector will get a little better or deeper signal after a rain. Congrats on your first Merc.
