Well I got to test out the new ace 350 today. It's my first decent quality detector and for messing around for 45 minutes I'm already pretty satisfied with it. My second target was a 1963 D dime! Couldn't believe it but I was digging in a 100+ year old park so not suprised. Dug about 6 caps/pull tabs and a few other scraps, a new shield penny (already 2 inches down somehow), and the las target was a little locket that looks gold but doesn't hold up well to the 10k acid test. It looks kind of newer and was almost on the surface. I'll upload a pic of it later. Might get out and try again tomorrow. I pretty much destroyed my HF digging/garden tool in 20 minutes so will probably chop the handle and spade down on a extra shovel and use it next time. Happy digging everyone!
