Silver in the hole..

Went to another park, the first days hunt was short but I managed to pull a small silver ring.

Then target was right next to a walkway. I was really surprised when I flipped over the plug, the target was right on top.

It was not a coin but a ring. The ring (3.4 grams) has mark $ with circle around it, 925 and small faint star. It was about 4 inches down, gave a 12 45 on the CTX.

Needless to say I went back the next day and dug clad. Thought I might get a couple of silver coins , you just never know. Thanks for looking. HH

Good question, I am not sure if they are diamonds or not. The ring has prongs to hold the gems in place?
I will have to take it to a jeweler to get it tested/cleaned. I figured the ring was silver, I did not know about
the sparkle till I cleaned the ring. Neat. I will let you know when I find out. Thanks for the comments.

They do put diamonds in silver rings now. It was done earlier but wasn't common practice. Very nice newer ring. Congrats

So I went to the jeweler today. He looked at the gems in the ring. He said they looked cloudy, and then tested them with his sensor ... they rang up CZ... bummer..
So close... I will get one eventually..
