Score for a random Monday Morning....

So found this on the sidewalk on my way into the office today.

20160829_084826.jpg

Clasp is stamped 750 Italy and something else above the word Italy. Its nice and heavy and in pretty decent condition.

Nice piece 18k?- hoping it will cash in nicely some change $$$ towards a detector upgrade as after 2 years with the faithful ACES 350 its almost time…

I’ll hang on for a couple days to see if I see any lost posters or anyone sniffing around looking for it.

Nevertheless - kinda wish I had found it dirt fishin - but I’ll take it :icon_scratch::icon_scratch:

It definitely has that look to it. Hallmark looks good. It's a large enough piece to be able tell by the weight in your hand that it's a real piece of gold.

I'm curious about the gram weight too! I'll guess 28 grams! Looks very chunky. :)

GREAT surface find, and I hope you get to keep it.

Finding gold jewelry is my favorite. It looks like you found a good chunk towards that upgrade. Etrac, Deus, CTX? :icon_thumleft:

Yep = 30.x grams - ended up getting a bit less then the # suggested by Turbo above - but still its all found $$$. Didn't shop it around - as I figure the cosmos was good enough to allow me to find it - didn't want to push my luck - haggled the guy up an additional $50 over his first offer and called it a day.

Very Happy - Wife and I had our 10th Anniversary this past weekend, so this allowed me to replenish some of the $$$ spent on her present.

Yes - thinking between an AT Pro and entry Deus.....need to do a bit more research and figure out the best fit for me. But thats another thread in another forum category

Thanks all for reading - hope your finds are plentiful]
