Met up with George today at one if his old old spots for a few hours. This place, according to him gives up at least 1 good find per hunt even though it's been beaten to death by numerous hunters. Well today I made at least 3 really good finds there! Got a cool presidential token, Got a sweet 1700s gold gilted dandy button, a small sterling religious medallion and the find of the day spanish half reale! Gonna be tough to get a date on this one but we think it's in the 1780s time frame, likely carolous III. thanks again george, much appreciated! Thanks for looking and hh!!! Check out what a little naval jelly did to the button and token! 20160926_125442.jpg 20160926_133005.jpg 20160926_141526.jpg 20160926_175110.jpg 20160926_144225.jpg 2016-09-26 19.33.03-1.jpg 2016-09-26 17.53.07-1.jpg

Good hunt for sure, the gilt on the large button is unusual, so cherish that special button. I have the identical Harrison token and one other Harrison token, mine is about same condition as yours, when I first saw mine in the dirt pile I thought I had a gold coin, so it actually was a disappointment at the time when I realized it was "just a token". thanks don, at 1st I thought it was a cruddy 190s token, then that date popped and all that gold like gilt, I was surprised to say the least!

Well done Chris!

Glad to see that were able to get out and score some nice stuff.

Awesome finds - that would be a dream hunt for me. Love the half reale - just found my first one last week and I'm still smiling. Congrats!
