I have found a few class rings over the past 2 years since I started metal detecting. However, I've always wanted to find an old class ring. On Monday of this week I was digging at an old swimming hole used back in the thirties through the sixties. I had a screaming 78 to 80 hit on my AT Pro Gold. I could hardly believe it, buried about 4 inches in the sand was this beautiful 10K men's class ring from the 1950s. I'm still trying to locate the owner. However, I believe he would be 80 years old today. I'll keep trying.
