Viking Pin

These are yesterday's finds. The best being a complete Viking pin, with an animals head. These don't come up every day, and certainly not complete. Also complete and in great condition, a small medieval beehive thimble. This type of thimble dates to the 13th century. Other finds included two medieval buckles, and a lead weight. And also a nice cut half hammered silver coin, late 12th to early 13th century. All in all a good hunt. Robert.

Looked like a bronze nail before I zoomed in, the serpentine/dragon head is awesome... if that one could talk
