🥇 BANNER 1825 Capped Bust Quarter

I decided to take the day off work and go detecting and boy did it pay off. I found my best and oldest coin to date. I could believe my eyes when I seen the silver shinning in the sun on the bottom of my plug. The quarter ran a solid 85 on the AT Pro about 3 inches down. After further research the quarter appears to be the 5 over 2 variety which makes it a heck of a lot nicer! I hope you enjoy the pictures and I would appreciate any feed back.

Yeah, I'm amazed of the condition. Looks great for being 191 years old!

No matter, I just like the ability to share my finds with like minded people. I've received a lot of great feedback to enforce with me that I did indeed find a historical coin in great condition. I do not need the quarter to be placed on display in order to appreciate its value. The value to me comes from the experience in researching the history and comradery that this hobby brings.

Thanks for all of your support and I wish you the best of luck in this all consuming effort to reclaim the lost.
