Went down the beach yesterday to find out the tide was too high to do anything. In the same area they are tearing up the street so I decided to swing there instead. A guy that has been doing the work on the street was just finishing up for the day said to me "good luck, but your not going to find anything. I've been looking and haven't seen anything." Just the inspiration I needed and I started swinging with a little more purpose. Here's what I found. Thanks for looking, HH.

1874 IHP, flat button, a pin, unknown roundness, a letter opener that reads "A WOLFE & SONS CORMOND WATER AND RUST KLEAN 163 SLATER PARK AVE PAWTUCKET, R.I." and eyeballed a sailors pipe

Now that is what I expect to see from a street tear out. Not pristine mercs and other unbelievable things. Thanks for sharing. Any age info on the letter opener?
