I think in five years this is the longest span of time that I haven't made it out detecting besides for bad winter or my super busy work season which also is coming soon. I had a lot of house projects that needed to be done before snow. It's only been a few weeks or so but that's a eternity of no hunting for me! Haha
I got permission to do a yard very close to another that produced some coins but the soil was so bad it just rotted them. It was the same situation in this place but at least three of the four coins were identifiable. 1864 New Brunswick one cent,1873 Newfoundland one cent and a 1919 Canadian large cent. I also found a half a sash buckle and maybe a bent complete square one. The rest was a crotal bell that says No. 1, flat buttons, copper corn cob and some odds and ends. I didn't bother cleaning stuff up much and too bad the soil is so bad on the copper there but I'll go back because there is a very good chance on some silver. I also found another queen Victoria jubilee medal but this one is in horrible shape compared to the other one I found awhile back. Everything came out of the ground pretty beat up not from me. Thanks for looking and it was nice to get out! [emoji106]

Congrats on those finds. :occasion14: Some times you just need to make time for the hobby. Most of my crotal bells are No. 3's, I sure would like to pull other sizes.

Funny you mentioned that. I stopped at a spot yesterday and didn't have much luck except for another crotal bell. This one says No. 3! Haha

Congratulations on getting out.
It is a little crazy here too. Today I'm moving furniture with a friend. I don't think it was a good idea to retire.
I'm just too busy to get out and hunt.

Im praying for a winter like last year. Mild and very little snow. Unlike the one before that which was one of the longest, snowiest and coldest in years!
