First person perspective video of finding and opening the treasure cache':

Spotting money in the mud a few minutes later:

Cache' and some of its contents:

The silver coins:

I've found a coin that looked like these before that was silver plated copper, but these appear to be pure silver, they are much smaller and better made than the plated one that I had found in the past:

$10 in the muddy sand:

You were destined to find that, it must have been one of your dream finds that you just knew would come true someday.

Lol, an actual dream I had a while back was to find three large milk crates at the dump full of someone's long forgotten silver and gold coin collection - thousands of coins, all neatly packed in coin holders and coffee cans. Every day I go and try to find it, nothing much so far... although if I were to ever find such a thing I doubt I would ever tell anyone. :laughing7:

I can't imagine doing this hobby in an urban area, but you sir always seem to make it happen and find the most interesting things. Well played!

Love your reaction when you pull the silver quarter. That's the genuine reaction many of us seek whenever we detect -- The surprise of something good.

I have to wonder if those baggies were drugs. Someone may have tossed the purse to avoid getting caught.

That reaction and feeling of surprise is half the reason to look for treasure, the other half is the treasure itself. But the feeling of discovery is the most fun part! After that the treasure just sit around doing nothing but looking good in a display case, or in a box out of sight. :coins::icon_pirat:
