My buddy John called and said lets hit the beach before the rain comes in. It's like noon and the storm is all over the horizon supposed to hit at 2:00 pm with chances of lighting and thunder! So "Really".....alrighty then I'll meet you down there. I'm on the beach, everything is sanded in and has been for days, I'm workin' the bluff black sand area. There's nothin'.... three crusty Lincolns and a nickel and it's starting to rain. Now it's 1:00 pm and the rain is starting to get heavy and John is nowhere to be found. There is a big drain pipe that has washed out a section of the beach. I always work the sidewalls of that area and Bingo there's the ring. John had been all over that spot yesterday and today but didn't hit the sidewalls of the cut...he was bummed
The ring was down 20" on the side of the cut only 3" deep. The little Buck Knife I found yesterday. It's called a "toothpick" model 385That's all I've got and must say I've been enjoying all the latest posts............
