'HUNTING THE GARDEN OF A ENORMOUS 100 YEAR OLD ORPHANAGE" [SILVER]

Hi all,On the home from the hotel site near the creek, i stopped at the local orphanage, which has not been used this the early 1970's.the inside of this building was damaged by homeless people and is considered unsafe.Resent rebuilding has started and the garden is been cleaned up too.Sun goes down quick so i had a limited time.Nailed a couple of silver sixpences and penny and a club badge from the 1970's

tinpan So many sites to hit and so little time ;D ;D

Nice finds, but I'm honestly more impressed with the house!!! I wouldn't want to imagine how much $ it will take to renovate both it and the grounds, but I'll bet it will end up being quite a beauty when done!

Beautiful house and congrats on silver. I found a three pence here in the us 1943 I think, such a small coin and one of my favorites!

Great digs Tinpan...The Mrs and I were sitting here and are in awe of that building...What beautiful architecture. I hope they do something to rejuvenate that building. What a shame to see it go to waste. Perhaps if I hit the big lottery I will buy it and turn it into a metal detectors resort :P
OK perhaps not. ;D

Cool building! It would be such a waist for that one to go by the wayside. Nice finds, too!
