Me and my buddy hit it pretty hard out on one of the oldest farms sites that I know. All that's left is a collapsed stone cellar hole. I found a really nice point while digging a target. I found an old rouge compact with the mirror still in tact, and several other relics but no coins. It was getting late so we moved to a different home site on the same property. My buddy found an indian head and I found my first good flat button (age?)

Works for me. Finding anything pre 1880 around here is considered rare, even if it's just a flat button.

Nice button! The site looks to have some early 1900's items, I think that clothing piece that is horseshoe shaped at one end is from a pair of dressier pants and it was one half of the waist band clasp...
