It wasn't really cold or raining, but there was a light mist that kept everything damp and messy. I hit a lot of good sites but I was having trouble cornering my first silver coin for the day. There was a lot of EMI and I couldn't seem to get either detector running smoothly today for some reason.

Finally I cornered a 1964 Rosie with my Racer 2. That took a load off. I switched over to my F75DST when I moved to another site and over 2 hours later I finally popped a 1939 Mercury Dime and 7 wheat pennies. Nothing came easy today. A black cat crossed in front of me and I found 13 quarters.

Tomorrow I have some things that I have to do, so there won't be any detecting for me. I want to go back to that last site because I didn't cover it all. It just looks like there has be some more silver there for me to find.

This was my 87th hunt for the year and my grand total for silver coins this year is 234.
I'll total all my gold and silver rings and other jewelry at the end of the year.

I'd say that black cat brought you some luck; 13 quarters, wheats and 2 silver dimes sounds like a good hunt to me. Hoot!:occasion18:Nice!
