Headed to the local coin show today for my yearly trash to treasure exchange. Had a poor year for finding clad ($64.00) but was able to boost my total by selling two Albany NY dog tax tags (1898 & 1905) I had dug for $91.00 on eBay. Was able to purchase the 5 ounce silver bar and three silver eagles.

Nice job! I like the idea of cashing in the clad for silver. :icon_thumleft:

Nice silver Ed. I do the same thing. Get rid of the junk clad for the real money.

Very nice! I had a very poor clad year this year as well. New account at work didn't leave me much free time and I wanted to do more woods hunting this year, so I expected to find less. Counted up my take from last year and I have enough for a 1 gram platinum or gold bar or a couple of silver bars. I'll take it! Free!

Happy hunting in 2017!

I wish I could afford to do that but I can't turn what I can spend into something I probably won't. :dontknow:

I trade my clad in for more tangible things, (out of necessity), like, batteries, gas, food, etc., etc. ;)

I like what you do better. :dontknow:
