That place has a lot more history than a 1900s home.

Pillar and Globes Mexico City mint. The Pillars represent the Pillars of Hercules, an ancient symbol for the straights of Gibraltar. The globes represent the old and new worlds. Nice digs

Alright! Enough of this. It's been in the 50s the last few days and the snow is gone. I'm putting the batteries back in the machine and going out tomorrow.

You, crabstang, are my current TreasureNet muse.

Congrats and keep the goodies coming!

Congrats on your first Spanish silver. I think with what you have found there so far, I would spend the rest of my life hunting that area.

Congrats on the half real. Some pretty decent detail on that one. Every one I've managed to find has been worn almost beyond recognition.

Congrats on the Spanish. A picture is starting to emerge of that area. Maybe a house site nearby (or under asphalt)

So, what are we thinking is the overall picture of this site? If I'm not mistaken, you found a WW1 U.S. button, modern silver, and all the old stuff. Have you checked any old maps to see what was there historically and more recently? Two CENTURIES of finds is surreal.
